Mkolo Game Farming And Safaris is situated 500 kilometers north from Johannesburg International Airport on the banks of the Limpopo River – the border between South Africa and Botswana.

Mkolo has been operating for hunting and tourism since 1988.

The main lodge and 2 luxury tents – a few meters away from the Limpopo River – accommodate 10 people with ease.  All 2 bed bedrooms en-suite.

Mkolo has 13 antelope species for hunting throughout the year either by means of walk and stalk for rifle hunters or from blinds/hides near waterholes for bow hunters.  The total hunting area is 2,500-hectaar savanna bush veldt.

During the daytime, or when you are not hunting, you can sit and relax on the wooden deck overlooking the Limpopo River with occasional hippo and crocodile lying in the water In front of you.

Combinations of hunting and photo safari trips have become very popular amongst hunting groups.  We arrange tours throughout South Africa as well as over border trips to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique as main destinations.

Deep sea fishing can be arranged in Port Alfred, a coastal town on the shores of the Indian Ocean or in the scenic Mozambique.
